Edited...I've played around with colors and now I'm rather liking the navy blue shirt with white text.  What say ye?  Better?

I thought so too, and I think the logo looks good against a navy blue background.  The white text looks good on navy blue too.

Will do.  I'm still waiting to hear back from the screenprinter.  Then I'll know a littler more about final design and cost.  I'll have to start a new thread to get an idea on how many of each size to order.

I haven't given up on this yet!  I've found a fellow USSVI member Gil Raynor who co-owns www.submarineshop.com with Ron Martini.  Gil makes all kinds of things for promotion.  I think we'll get something down soon.  The design is going to be somewhat simpler that what I've posted above, with only 2 colors and less decoration.

More soon!  I'll hopefully be asking "Who wants one" and "What's your size"!

Gil Raynor has sent a prototype of the tshirt to me.  I'll try to take a photo and post here.

If you guys are still interested, I figured this would be something great to look into once spring gets here.

Lance,

Would you be able to read all the boat names on the back?  Wouldn't it be too small to make out?

And a question:  How the heck did they get a submarine to Nebraska?

Gil Raynor sent me some very nice prototypes of these shirts.  I still hope to order some very soon.  I'll try to take a photo of them for opinions.

Because it is just a little tiny submarine!  More the question would be why did Nebraska think they needed a submarine.  However, or for what ever reason I'm glad that someone saved the Marlin.  With 1 torpedo tube it out guns the Albacore!  :coolsmiley:

That's really a better question, John.  Why DID Nebraska think they needed a submarine.  As for the Albacore, it looks as though it's sitting in a field abandoned.  Is that the case?  If it is, that's a travesty.  That boat opened a whole new era in submarine design. ???

The Albacore is in a park and nice facility - right off the water too. Interesting sub - loved it!
