Good question.  Last I heard he and Lesley were still planning on going to the convention though.

I've always considered the Batfish a safe place to be in case of a Tornado.  A flood would work, too, as long as she didn't break her lines.  Power is a different story...  ::)

Well, we were fortunate here.  Just some rain and small wind gusts.  Lots of tornadoes spun off though.  We are under a tornado watch for most of the day today.

Did you guys hear about the 2 decommissioned Navy ships and the barge that broke free down in New Orleans?  They said one man somehow secured them.

Maybe they didn't completely break their moorings, if one guy was able to secure them.  I was wondering which Navy ships they were.  I'd hate to hear that one of the WWII jobs went to the bottom before we could salvage more goodies from her.

good to hear your are safe Lance.  I have the same hopes for the Drum and all of the others that are in the area.

MarkA,
Just so you know, I spoke with the fFire Marshal in those regards.  He stated that that was the safes place to be in the even of a major store or tornado.  He did not say anything about flooding thought.

If she does go floating I will be the one on the bridge............
