While I can think of better ways to go out then that... ahem  ;)    that IMHO wouldn't be a bad thing if I had to go out and couldn't do the first, being in the conn of your boat that you have put everything into to make her live once more is acceptable to me because you will forever be with the crews who have gone down with their boats in defense of freedom where ever it may be.
