Weekend follies
« on: October 17, 2008, 06:25:13 PM »
Well Mrs. TM has me heading off to Maryland for a friend's open house party.  :crazy2:  No where near a submarine, but duty calls. I will take a laptop with me, but I know I won't get much time online.  Since this party is a 100 plus miles away, we are staying in Delaware and will head to Ocean City or some where close to water on Sunday. I wish I could take my DC manual with me to study for some quizzes next week. But that may be hard too. (I am taking about a gallon of pink lady with me)

There is still some unanswered questions on the this week's school of the boat - so get busy.

With all of this said - anyone have big, medium or small plans for the weekend?

How about a list of all submarine movies?

AHEM.... I mean PARDON ME......

JT IF'n you are going to be in Maryland or even in Deleware there is a boat that you need to check out on SATURDAY because there are volunteers onboard who will make you feel like you are home once more and that is the volunteers from the USS Torsk.. We have a number of folks who come in from Deleware to make the trip and it takes an hour or so and they spend a couple of hours on the boat every chance they get. Make the trip, it is well worth it

Come on JT,
tell CinCHouse that you need to walk the decks once more of a Diesel boat and you will be back in a few hours or you will slowly loose your mind ;)

I'll be up bright and early leaving at 6 AM in the morning to go see the USS Drum, along with the rest of Battleship Memorial Park.  I'll be taking lots of photos!

Me and the Mrs. will be heading to the BATFISH to participate in the annual Fall Work Day.  I'll have pictures posted probably on Sunday.

Nothing much for me, except planning and executing a surprise party for my grandmother's 80th birthday. Well, actually other people are doing it but as is inevitable with my (extended) family it's a fiasco.  :uglystupid2: Anywho, not much else.

Four states in 24 hours - but we made it back. No highlights other than a new knife (old one)
