It's pretty awesome that anything from WWII was recorded like that, isn't it?

The USN realized that good sound recordings were vital for training SONAR operators...  so every attempt was made to obtain recordings of attacks and OUR sounds versus THEIR sounds...   thanks to HNSA's Rich Pekelney for tracking these sounds down and providing them to us all!!!

WAY TOOOOOOooooooooo late CHIEF.. by the time I got this the work day had ended and I am now at home relaxing in my chair watching NCIS and still smelling like the boat that you took the day off from ;)  A GREAT day was had by those whom SHOWED up and they were very well fed and no sadly not only did you not get any because there wasn't any left our fearless Marine didn't get any either because he left early.

Now IF you talk nice to me I can set down her in the next couple of days and put them ALL on CD for you and send them too you so that you can be the hero that made sounds come from the boat other then dit dit dat dat dat and the occasional words that are not child friendly :2funny:
