IRS Scam e-mails
« on: January 26, 2009, 12:09:21 PM »
Just a quick note - just got an e-mail from the IRS saying that I was qualified for a stimulus packagee (how did they know I need money).  A quick check on Snpoes.com and this is fake.  The IRS does not communicate with taxpayers in this manner.  Do not open the attachment. :crazy2:

remember all government emails should come with a .gov address.  If I do not see that I imediately go to super suspicous mode...
