COD shore display periscope
« on: June 04, 2009, 10:50:02 AM »
Here is Boat's photo of our 8B search scope beach display... the head leaks and we are working to locate such "hole."  Boats is our COB and stuff like this falls in his lap...  just glad no birds thought he was "lunch."

Nice view of a scope head and COD in background though!  God Bless the Cleveland Fire Dept. for giving Boats a boost in their sky bucket!

Paul,
Ya gotta remember that the 'scopes worked under a vacuum and IF there isn't one in the scope it may leak and you will never find the leak. See if you can talk your friend at Kolgmeren to come down and purge out the scope and then reseal it and put a vacuum in it so that it will last for many years to come.
