USS Lionfish SS 298 drawings online
« on: November 01, 2009, 10:05:10 PM »
Folks,

We added a booklet of general plans for USS Lionfish SS 298 to the HNSA web site. The original was a bit rough, but the best available at Battleship Cove.  Our thanks go out to the curator for lending the drawings to be scanned.

Thanks for posting the Lionfish and Sand Lance drawings.  That might help us fill in any missing gaps in Batfish's drawings, since they're all Portsmouth boats.

Mark,

Did you know that we scanned the microfilm for Pampanito that came from NARA?  The quality is generally poor, and it is not comprehensive, and mostly without the updates, but if you want to send me a hard drive I can fill it up for Batfish.

There are greyscale and black and white.  These are from microfilm.

I'll ask Rick if he wants these drawings.  He seems to be pretty happy with the Batfish collection.
