This is a groundbreaking new work highlighting our submarines' valiant effort in the Pacific against a determined and persistent foe, including shedding new light on the Silversides' and Drum's role in it and the suffering of the USS Tang crew in captivity. I was privileged to assist the author with some sources and photos, including the cover.
