Such a shame.  At least it wasn't drug or alcohol related.  I liked him.

There was once an old time superstition that stars died in threes.  I can’t prove any of this but it sure seems like over the years this has always been the case.

Steel guitarist Don Helms, the last remaining member of Hank Williams' original Drifting Cowboys Band, has died from a heart attack.  On the heels of Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes, this now makes the third peforming dying in the last few days.  Helms was 81.
