This seems to be the most appropriate location for this post.
I had the distinct pleasure of hosting a crew member from our sistership USS Archerfish. We were discussing their famous sinking of the Shinano and found out that the skipper a new tactic designed specifically for carriers. He set the torpedos to run at 10 ft (much shallower then normal) for this attack anticipating that the ship would cabsize due to the unusual weight distrobution found on CV's. As we all know, it worked like a charm....
