I noticed this link on their website referring to a "Save the Ling" movement.

Does anyone know the current status of this? It doesn't sound good at all.
I emailed the address shown on that site to invite them here. SaveTheLing@Verizon.net

Clamagore is in a similar situation. They have a repair bill of $10M that they can't afford right now.

I heard speculation that she might go to Philly. Not sure.

SaveTheLing@Verizon.net is one of my email addresses. I have posted a new topic with the current status of the Ling which I will try to keep updated.
Please visit my website at: http://mysite.verizon.net/resx5uqm/savetheling/index.html , print the petition and fill it with signatures then mail it to the NJ Naval Museum at the address provided. We need those signatures to convince County, State and Federal politicians that the Ling is supported by folks all over the country.
Thank you,
Carl

Carl, thanks for making that status post and please keep us updated.
Bill Lee of the USSVI Lockwood Internet Base will want to speak to you I'm sure about the "SaveOurSubmarines" effort. He's "Viejo" on here.
