I received these in the mail this week from forum member croesch, aka Charley Roesch.

Talk about nice presentation! These things are professional. They were both wrapped in shrink-wrap even.

Guys, I just watched the DVD video tour, and it's AMAZING! Dr. Roesch does an excellent tour of all of the Silversides, telling what every little switch, knob, gauge, etc does. Very very detailed. I highly recommend getting a copy of this video from him.
Two thumbs up!

If he's that detailed, it wouldn't be a bad item to own for restoration purposes. Good to know what you're fixing. ;-) Nothing will replace the fleet boat manual and component manuals, but an overview is always nice.

The video is supposed to be for sale through the Silversides's gift shop. However, the gift shop online doesn't seem to be functioning right now. A call to them may be a way to buy the video.
And yes, it's detailed. Every room, every compartment seems to be covered. He talks about each motor and engine and what it does, inductions, valves, gears, hatches, gauges, levers, etc. I'm sure that EVERYTHING isn't covered, but I sure learned a lot. I think it's about 90 minutes.

This would be a great indoctrination video for the reenactment crew.
