Title: What conning tower is this?

Is this an actual submarine's conning tower?  Or is it something someone built?

Looks like a modified bathtub bridge with the covered portion of the bridge removed.

This is a 60% accurate plywood/fiberglass mockup built by vets as a memorial. There are other almost realistic mockups at Silversides.

Although I got the '120 plus days' warning, I'd love to have a source on how to reach the guys who fabricated it. Or, better yet, info on the more realistic ones you mentioned.
