Title: Bill Parker (SOB) passed away
Post by: Lance Dean on August 20, 2012, 10:24:34 PM
Just wanted to let everyone know that we lost a friend today.  Bill (SOB) Parker was a tremendous help to the museum submarine community.  He was a wiz here at School of the Boat questions with Darrin.  I know the Pampanito people will sorely miss him.

Bill Parker was one of the good guys whom you could always ask a question and know that you would get the right answer every time, it is truly sad to know that he has gone on eternal patrol. It was an honor to work with him here on the BBS and he helped me fill in a lot of blanks not only doing the School of the Boat but also working on the USS Torsk.

Rest your oar Bill, we have the watch

Bill will be dearly missed on Pampanito.  His memorial will be 13 Sep at 10:00 at Pampanito.
