Dave Firebaugh's visit.  He did 10 war patrols on SAWFISH and was later COB of REMORA.

This upcoming Saturday, TORSK will host Charles "Dave" Firebaugh on the boat again.
He is a World War II sub vet who eventually became a COB and retired a LtCdr. which a specialty in weapons.
Last year his daughter got in contact with us for his 90? birthday and we had a great time with both of them.

In the past year, he has regularly corresponded with us about various systems on TORSK, especially the TBT and TDC.  It's stunning what he remembers.

The Volunteers, after taking a year and a half off from being on the boat, are playing a bit of catch up with maintenance and restoration.

June and July have also been very hot in the Inner Harbor, which has served to keep Volunteer hours down.
