Attention BATFISH crew!
Just talked to Frank Thompson, NHC assistant curator and HNSA liason. Frank reports that he does not have a collections management plan for BATFISH... no tickee, no washee (or submarine parts!)...
Get going!
Good Luck!

Good guy, but plays by the rules! And he cares about the subs!

Will do. I am working with another subject, but I will call him and get this straightened out.

Is NHC happy, now?

I hate to say it, but not yet. They do not seem to be pleased as I used their sample policy as a template. I have several notes and am reviewing making the changes. I hope to tackle this soon. I have suspision that there are a few other factors that go into this though. I am not going to take the liberty to say anything right now though.

I did forget to mention that this is a good start. It is my goal to resolve these old issues out here and try and make this place better for everyone.

I'm sure that there are some old bad feelings from past sins committed by former Batfish managers. At least they're willing to work with us.

This is true. I am glad to see all the help that is comming out of this site. It is good to see people like Tom and Paul and Frank and Mike, among the many others that have steped up to help out.
At least I know this crazy flyboy will not go down without a fight.

What's our paperwork status, now? I noticed the historical membership plaque on the outside of the building on Saturday.
The reason for my asking is to try to get a decision out of the San Diego guys regarding the 5" gun. Having our NHC status will go a long way.

Keep fighting and IF there is anything that I can do to help let me know, I will email our guy on Torsk and see what he has done to make it easier on you if you can't fix what is broke. Just let me know..
