Hi all,
So I finally joined this board and wanted to say hi. I've been with Cobia for over 8 years. Started as a tour guide and now I'm the Assistant Educator/Submarine Curator for the WI Maritime Museum. With my new responsibilities to the boat I thought it would be a good idea to join this board to learn more and meet people, because I'm sure I will have questions down the road!

Welcome aboard Karen - be careful of those guys in the aft torpedo room. :crazy2: You're always welcome here in the Forward torpedo room. Stop by for a chat and a cup of Joe. Don't let anyone tell you that our coffee is laced with Gilly :coolsmiley: None of that stuff up here - it's all business.
Be sure to check out the school of the boat. Darrin runs a pretty good one. Lots of information around this forum. And don't forget to ask questions. There will always be someone ready with an answer! :D

Karen, thank you so much for joining up on the forum. I wish we had more people like yourself.
The Cobia has an operational radar system, right?

Thanks for the welcome!
Yes, our radar works.

Hi Karen
Welcome aboard, It was great talking with you on the Drum at the HNSA conference. I think you left the cold weather down here.

Welcome aboard Karen,
it is good to see a fresh face around here, stay a while and tell stories of how far Cobia has come in the last 8 years that you have been onboard.

Good to have you onboard, Karen. There is a wealth on knowledge amongst this group and I'm sure an equal amount amongst the folks aboard Cobia. This a great place to share that knowledge.
