OK guys, due to black possibly causing multiple issues that I'd never considered, I've changed the website and forum over to a "white" theme versus the "black" theme.
If you have any trouble, let me know!

Thanks for your efforts. I think some of the difficulties are that not everyone has a 22 inch wide screen LCD monitor like we recently bit the bullet and spent some of our retirement savings on

Well, I'm glad those who were having trouble reading the site spoke up. I don't mind making changes if it helps anyone read things easier! :) Maybe white will grow on me...

Lance;
I notice a very small trouble with white, and wonder if others see the same thing. Text in black and all dark colors look great but when the text is in light color I cannot read it. Probably another sign of my old age.

I must apologize for my ignorance but I have not figured out how to use the buttons above the message box. Like font size, color, bold etc. When I click I see the item in [ ]. What do I do next?
-
Well, first you type your message. Then you go back and highlight the portions you want to bold, change font, change color, etc. When you have they text highlighted, just click the button for whatever you want that text to do.
You won't see the results until you either choose "Post" or "Preview". That's what the "Preview" button is great for, to see what your post will look like before it's final.
All those buttons do is place BBC code in place for you. To read about BBC code, look here:

Thanks I am slowly figuring it out. If I am doing it right the only button with a drop down box so far is "color" The others I guess you type in size , font name etc. does that sound right?

"Change Color" is the only drop down box, yes. Just select your text (by left-clicking and dragging aka highlighting) and then click on the effect you want for that text.

Your new color scheme looks better then the Black and White. It is easier on the eyes not to mention easier to read.

Well good then, mission accomplished!

I hate to say this but I am having a very difficult time reading yellow text on the white background,. It usually is in profiles and maybe I don't need to know what it says.

Hey Tom, I can fix that if you'll give me an example. I can't track it down.

Ahh, that was Mark's choosing to make his text yellow at the time. It looked good back when we had a black background.
