This slide shows the projected storm wind swath for Hurricane Ike.

If this model proves to be correct Ike is projected to regain CAT 3 intensity sometime today before an early Saturday morning landfall near Galveston, TX.

Here is a pic of the Cavalla a few years ago during a different storm, yes she looks like she IS underway
