Anyone out there that has the slide out bunks in the torpedo rooms. We need detailed close photos of the way the racks and slide mechanism are mounted and what they look like.

That would be Paul Farace of the USS COD fortune and fame, we don't have the on Torsk (YET) ;)
-
We only have bunks hanging from the ceiling in our TR's.

check with Greg Stitz at the Razorback. They have all of their bunk in place.

Gotta agree with the above post... COD being an EB sub probably has a different slide mechanism than DRUM... USS SILVERSIDES in Muskegon would be the closest sister. I can get some shots in the next few days if the BLIZZARD lets up (10 inches inthe drive) and dad is in rehab fighting the effects of a week in the hospital for a respitory infection. :-\

I hope your dad gets better very soon.

Paul,
I hope that your father recovers quickly and that the snow doesn't keep your "refigerator" in the driveway too long ;) One day I am going to come back up to work with you and your crew.. Don't know when yet but I am trying to get a trip up there this summer when our local schools go on summer vacation :coolsmiley:

Hope your father gets well soon. Appreciate photos when you get a chance, we are not in any hurry.

Thanks for the kind thoughts re: dad. I'll get to the boat in the next few days and get some shots of the bunk mounts.
Got about 10 inches in the driveway that took two sessions to remove. The driveway apron is still a mess. :buck2:

Did you ever get the pictures for Tom? How's your dad?
-
Gotta say I am shocked to say I have not been below on COD since we last talked about bunks! Some topside stuff during a visit, but not below. Will get the shots soon though.

Tom:
Hope these pictures provide some help.
Let me know if you need something more precise.

Those are way cool Paul, one day Torsk may have those again :coolsmiley:
