Title: Bug Juice?
Post by: Lance Dean on August 15, 2008, 09:28:45 AM
This stuff doesn't look good to me.  On long patrols I bet it's high in demand though.  Where have I heard of this stuff before?

Thank you Dave595 for all the photos you sent!

It was good when you added some torpedo juice - smack!

The red bug juice was great to clean stainless steel with, you could get anything off  with that stuff. IF I remember right the mixture on the package was one package to 5 gallons of water and stir, it wasn't too bad and it was always good with bacardi, too bad we couldn't take the bacardi underway with us.

there were days after painting topside and our TMCS(SS) would bbq for us and have beer for us and a bottle or two of beverages of his choice and one was bacardi and while painting and bbq'ing the CO didn't want to see us drinking topside and the cooks were privy to what was going on so they would bring pitchers topside and it was premixed before we got it.  Dem was de days ;)
