Bridge Sound powered Phones
« on: June 07, 2012, 12:39:58 PM »
Let me ask this a different way:

Does anyone have a sound powered phone handset or headset that has a bridge pressure-proof type plu?  If so, would you please copy any info from the plug that you can find, ie., manufacturer, part no. FSN, etc.  It would be a big help to us on Torsk so that we can acquire a couple of the plugs needed to restore our sound-powered phone system.

See the attached photo.

Thanks!

Surely one of the museum boats must have a bridge phone or headset?  All I need is the number off the plug.  HELP!

Will try to look next time I am on the bridge.  Not sure about headsets though...  There are phone jacks for the after deck gun (5in.) and phones up on the box and stern... so gotta find more of these receptacles.

Thanks, Paul.  These jacks are actually located on the bridge and by the forward escape trunk amongst other places topside.
