  Now, now children - lest we forget this was John Bay's introduction.  Now he thinks we pick on folks (which of course we do).  Let him get acclimated to the climate on board before we start jabbing each other.  It’s getting “cheek” deep in snow in Maine and John may have long days and nights at the computer. 

  By the way – us torpedomen are a proud clan – got better things to do than sit around listening to fish doing dirty things in the sea!

Ya know Bill, I am starting to believe that he is lurking like some others.. He has posted here a couple of times and that is about it, I need some TM help for the folks on Batfish tryin to bring weapons back onboard for the first time in many years and there options are limited as to what they can do. Please feel free to jump in and give us some direction, motivation and purpose where ya can.

Darrin, you got to remember, I am a nuc ELT. Now I did play with torpedos on the Scorpion, but sure our loading system was much differnet. I do know though that you want the screw towards the back and shut the door before shooting. That's about the sum of my knowledge. LOL Maybe some of the guys on the Cavalla can help out. They loaded one not too many months ago and I watch part of it with their webcam.

Never heard of any tubes coming out of the middle.  Don't think it would be practical.  But I'm going to do some research on this one Bill.
