This is a machine that actually had a BIG role in winning the war, no bull!
Rich Pekelney is working on Pamps' and needed a picture of a tiny part we had. I thought it might be neat to see the guts of an OPERATING TDC!

Like looking into the open skull of a living person!  (except someone like me, where the empty space would no be so interesting)... :uglystupid2:

It was pretty amazing when you consider the trig that goes into figuring a torpedo shot.  This machine did in 5 minutes what took 15-20 minutes of manual calculations needed.
