Drum's early Christmas
« on: June 30, 2010, 07:50:45 PM »
The Stanely family of tools (Stanley, Dewalt, Mac and Proto) Has just donated a bunch of stuff to us that would have cost me $3,000. It included a new welder, welding gloves, grinders and wheels, air drills, drill bits, wrenches and sockets and more. This came about from a tour I gave to one of their corporate managers. I am trying to see if they will donate to other boats that need help. I will keep you informed. That is one reason I hate to take a day off, never know who I will miss talking to.

This is awesome Tom!  I wish there was some way to compile a big "thank you" listing for all of the people/businesses who have helped in this manner to put on the Drum228.org website someday.

Tom,

You are right.  You can never know who is coming through your boat, but I caution you that your boat can take over your life.  This is a big score.  Keep up the good work and keep us posted....

You are too late Rick, The Drum took over my life four years ago. But I can't think of a better way to spend my life or a better cause, beats chasing women.
