Visit from the Batfish
« on: July 01, 2010, 03:10:16 PM »
Guys,

I'll be down Saturday afternoon to tour the boat.  I'll be wearing one of my Batfish shirts.  Looking forward to meeting anyone that might be available, but I know that it's a holiday weekend.

Regards,

Mark,

What time will you be there? Some of us will be there in the morning and early afternoon. Let me know what time!

What time does the boat open?  We're thinking of hitting the harbor, first, and then going to the gun range in the afternoon, since it doesn't open until 10 a.m.  I'll be wearing a dark blue Batfish golf shirt.

Mark,

The crew is onboard LONG before 10 AM,  the best parking is on Gay St at the second garage on the left... I think it is the Waterstreet garage. the most work that we get done is after the overnighters have left and before the tourista's start coming onboard.

Enjoy your visit tomorrow, call and they will give you the GRAND tour :smitten:

Who should I ask for when I call and what is the number?  What's the earliest that we could get on board (within reason)?

Mark,

I will be aboard along with a couple of the other guys by 730 or so, and we'll be aboard till about 11.

My cell is 443-413-9101. Give me a buzz when you get near the boat and I will meet you topside.

Guys,

Thanks for the visit.  We really enjoyed ourselves and got some more insight into stuff that we need to accomplish on the Batfish.  We'll let you know if we'll take you up on your offer for the 4th.  What time would you recommend us getting there?

Mark,

We will be aboard most of the day, from at least noon onward. So anytime after that is fine. The fireworks start at 9:30, so try to be there by 9:00 at the latest so you can pick out a spot on deck to watch them from.

It was great to meet you today and I am glad you enjoyed your tour. Don't forget to send me your wish list so we can look it over and see if we have any extra stuff you can use. My email is usstorsk@gmail.com

Hope we see you tomorrow!

Darrin,

You got it - the flag will fly!

Sorry you can't be here. Should be a great day and evening aboard TORSK!

Gil,

We'll be sure to send you our wish list.  It ranges from big to small items and is probably incomplete.

We're still debating on the inner harbor fireworks, since my friend said that the last time he went down there for the 4th, it took over an hour just to leave the city limits.

Darrin,

Sorry we missed you this weekend.
